About Runsheetly
Runsheetly is a small piece of software for the person who dispatches a fleet too small to have a dispatcher on every shift. The owner-operator who assigns the loads before driving one of the trucks, the dispatcher at a twenty-truck carrier, the courier outfit's operations lead: it is built for the job they already do on a whiteboard and by text, and it keeps the board they cannot read from the road.
Why this site exists
This site exists because the runs most small fleets dispatch live on a whiteboard in the office, in a text message to the driver at six in the morning, and in the dispatcher's head. When a driver calls in sick or a shipper moves a window, none of those can be rebuilt from the road. Runsheetly keeps the run sheet, the board and the roster as one record, and gives away the sheets that produce them.
Who it is for
The dispatcher, owner-operator or operations lead who runs a fleet of two to fifty trucks or vans, assigning loads and stops to drivers every day, with nobody whose whole job is dispatch on every shift.
Not the field-service contractor sending technicians to jobs, not the freight broker on a load board, not the shipper pricing a freight class, not the driver looking for a job, and not the carrier's accountant doing the IFTA return. Those are different people with different problems.
What it does not do
- No load board and no freight quote: Runsheetly keeps the loads you already have, and never sells you one or prices one
- No hours-of-service record and no ELD: the sheets cite the federal driving limits as a ceiling and leave the log to the device the law requires
- No field-service technician dispatch: the HVAC, plumbing and electrical trades dispatch jobs, not loads, and this product is not written for them
- No carrier directory and no driver jobs: nobody pays to be listed here and nobody is recruited here

- Dispatch schedule (the run sheet): Put in the trucks rolling today, the stops, the ones with a window, the loads, the minutes a stop takes and the minutes between stops, and the driving hours a driver has, and see the stops on each run sheet, the minutes each run takes and the headroom inside the driving limit.
- Dispatch scheduling sheet (the week's roster): Put in the drivers, the trucks, the days the fleet runs, the shifts, the days off per driver and the spare days you want in hand, and see the assignments the week needs, the driver-days available, the slack and the coverage per ten truck-shifts.
What Runsheetly Pro keeps
Upgrading turns the sheet into the board. The run sheet becomes today's runs with a driver and a truck on each and a status that moves as the day goes; the roster becomes the week the dispatcher can change from the phone when a driver calls in sick. Nothing is retyped: what the sheet computed is what the board keeps.
